Thanks Gretch! Yes. . more and more I feel that movement in still life is part of what creates a more dynamic image. Even though something is static you can create a sense of vibrancy or life. I think that part of that has to do with eye movement. . .like you said the pattern makes your eye jump around. It can also be created through form and color.

Justin these are beautiful. Even though it's a still ife, I see hints of movement in the first photo. The pattern is really alive, my eye jumps around and I end up landing on the yellow truck. Great stuff man!

I will. . . wasn't really aware of Richter's work but it seems as if I should be given his exploration with the color chart series! Same idea, different medium!
